Abstract

This is the first issue of Our Commonwealth. Published from March 1886 to March 1888, Our Commonwealth was a weekly newspaper supporting land reform based on the thought of American land reformer Henry George. Unlike George himself, the publication argued that socialist and single tax politics were compatible.
