Details
Arthur Desmond arrived in Sydney from New Zealand around 1892. Often writing under the name Ragnar Redbeard, he published the weekly newspaper Hard Cash, which later became of offical organ of the Active Service Brigade. He particularly targetted the banks, including printing thousands of stickers of the words "GOING BUNG" which were plastered over banks on the eve of the bank crashes of 1893.
