Haire, Norman (1892 - 1952)
Norman Haire was a medical graduate of the University of Sydney who, in the 1920s in Britain, advocated birth control. Through his writings and lectures Haire made information regarding contraception more widely available to the general public. He returned to Sydney after the Second World War.
